The harms of bullying are not limited to the children who are bullied only, but also to the children who bully others, whether inside or outside the school. There is no doubt that these damages negatively affect both the psychological and physical health of children in a large way, and consequently, their low level of academic achievement. In order to eliminate the damages and effects of school bullying, it is necessary first to know what the effects of bullying are on school students.
- Depression and increased anxiety: the victim of bullying becomes more anxious about going to school, and does not prefer going to school alone as a result of fear of bullies, both inside and outside the school.
- Poor academic achievement: the victim of bullying loses his/her desire to go to school, and this plays a major role in losing his/her academic motivation, as the student does not like to participate in school activities. Furthermore, the victim of bullying loses his/her ability to focus during the lessons, and thus gets low marks on school tests.
- Conduct disorder: Both the bully and the victim of bullying also engage in many aggressive behaviors at school and at home. As the bully practices violence on others outside the home, and it is not surprising that bullying is practiced inside the home.
- Tendencies to loneliness: a child who is subjected to any form of bullying tends to be lonely in carrying out various activities and activities, whether inside or outside the home, because bullying weakens the child's confidence in himself and others.
In conclusion, it can be said that the damages of school bullying cannot be limited as a result of the diversity of forms of bullying practiced by students.
